The client, partnershipped between AWES(Lagos) and Urbanspace(Abuja), even though a starter in the modular building field, but is greatly encoraged by the flexibilities & practices of the modular cabins we supplied and they believe this type of products are new in Nigeria markets but would definitely meet local demands both on quality and functions. They said to our Project Manager: these modular cabins are really nice to us, they are flexible but solid in structures and can be used for any type which is really suitable for building camps. As an emerging market rich in energy, Nigeria is really worth the development.
This is not only a project journey, but also a business trip.
In Lagos, our Project Manager, together with both of the clients, meet Vice Chancellor of Lagos State University and dicussed the business of students accommodations in LASU.
On the way to Abuja, many military camps were seen but not well-equipped and accommodated, which shows the modular building solutions would be very popular. And in Abuja, the clients and the Project Manager had important meeting with the head of one important company who wants to build a military camp with 3000 to 5000 modular cabins. The head is happy about the mluti-functions of our modular cabins as they can be used as kitchen/mess, recreation blocks and accommodations. During the installations of the 3 units in Abuja, there have been several visitors all the way through coming to see and surprised by the fast construction of the modular cabins.
Even though there were only 5 units in the first order and they are to show to the many potential customers, we believe they will open the great market in Nigeria.
